Damco has bought Australian freight forwarder Pacific Network Global Logistics.

International logistics provider Damco, part of the AP Moller-Maersk Group, has bought Australian freight forwarder Pacific Network Global Logistics.

The acquisition will strengthen Damco's forwarding capabilities in Australia, Hong Kong and China.

Damco CEO Rolf Habben-Jansen says: "We are combining two businesses with very aligned strategies and complementary skills, customer bases and geographic strengths. We have already seen that our cultures match very well, which is an excellent basis to further improve our ability to serve our joint existing and future customers even better."
