Yale expands network in France

Yale Materials Handling has increased its coverage in France by adding four dealers to its network.

Oman SAS will represent the brand in the Rennes and Nantes regions, while Vitamotor will be active in the Rouen and Tours areas. Demolin will represent Yale in the Normandy region, covering Calvados, Eure, Manche and Seine Maritime. Mazoyer will exclusively represent the Yale brand in the Côte-d'Or.

Yale has been making a "concerted effort" to boost its presence in France and expects appointing the four dealers to increase sales, hire and after-sales service coverage to its growing customer base in the north west of France.

Yale dealer business development director Christophe Maillet says the company is confident of the dealers' knowledge of the market, enthusiasm and motivation to support the Yale brand.

"The French market is steadily recovering from the economic downturn that affected the global materials handling market, and these four dealers are ideally placed to capitalise on the growth opportunity by offering Yale's full range of materials handling equipment," Maillet says.

The dealers will offer Yale pallet trucks, reach trucks and stackers, electric, diesel and LPG counterbalance forklifts and turret trucks.

Part of Groupe Debreuil, Oman operates five regional offices, including a head office in Rennes.

Vitamotor is part of the Vectis Group, an industrial and mechanical maintenance company created in 1935. Vitamotor, the group's forklift division, offers sales, short and long-term lease and full service packages, and has offices in Tours and Le Mans.

Demolin, also part of the Vectis Group, has offices in Rouen, Caen, Evreux, and two offices in Le Havre.

Mazoyer, a key materials handling player in France's north west, established more than 30 years ago, is in Gevrey Chambertin, near Rouen.

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. You go to Yahoo!, MSN, or maybe AOL, and start the mind-numbing process of finding your very specific needle in the digital haystack. And with web pages loading one image at a time, patience isn’t just a virtue – it’s a requirement!

As clumsy as this early iteration seems now, this technology was the great enabler that allowed Forkliftaction to connect to the industry across the globe.

To everyone who has connected with Forkliftaction in the past 25 years, thank you for your contribution to our success! We feel deeply touched by your words of encouragement.

Words of support …

After advertising with Forkliftaction.com, we got many enquiries regarding interest to be our distributor. Mostly from Europe and USA but including a few in ASEAN. We feel that the advertisement was useful and good for market expansion.
