UniCarriers assists Roosevelt University
Marengo, IL, United StatesUniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) executives will partner with Roosevelt University for mentoring and business forums.
Several UCA executives are alumni of Roosevelt University, including James J. Radous III, president of UCA, and Steve Cianci, vice president of sales and marketing for UCA. Both earned their MBAs from the Heller College of Business at Roosevelt and will continue to strengthen their relationships with the University.
UCA executives will assist by mentoring business students, serving on the Heller College of Business advisory board, presenting at the Heller Business Forum lecture series and presenting to business classes.
"UCA is proud to employ several Roosevelt graduates besides myself, and we're excited to be able to give back some of our time and talents to help shape the next generation of Roosevelt graduates," says Radous.

Riwal climbs Alpe d'Huez for charity
Dordrecht, NetherlandsRiwal participated in the recent Alpe d'Huez charity event, a fundraising endeavour to support cancer research.
During the event, participants climbed the Alpe d'Huez mountain in France up to six times by either walking, running or cycling. This year, a total of 20 Riwal employees participated in the event and raised EUR170,000 (UDS177,500).
Norty Turner, Riwal's CEO, comments: "Practically everyone is affected in some way or another by cancer. The initiative to participate in the Alpe d'Huez event stemmed from one Riwal team member who said he was going to participate and blossomed into a cause the company rallied around. I feel very proud for Riwal to have been a part of the event, and I want to thank everyone who so generously donated their time, energy and money to make it so successful again."
Yale gets green nod

Yale made it onto the
Food Logistics list of 2016 Top Green Providers, recognised for its lithium-ion and hydrogen fuel cell power solutions.
"In addition to reducing environmental impact, alternative power solutions are an increasingly attractive option to overcome key business challenges," says Mick McCormick, vice president of warehouse solutions for Yale.
Food Logistics profiles companies on the Top Green Providers list online and in print. The list is an annual guide recognising companies with products, services or exemplary leadership that enhance sustainability within the food and beverage industry.
