Snorkel UK hosts Access Link Spring Meeting
United KingdomSnorkel UK, the sales and service provider for Snorkel in the UK and Ireland, recently hosted the Access Link Spring Meeting in the North East of England.
More than 30 Access Link members listened to a number of presentations, after which they were transported to Snorkel's manufacturing facility and European headquarters in Washington, Tyne & Wear for a facility tour.
Led by Linda Betts, sales director at Snorkel UK, and John Gill, president of the Snorkel manufacturing site, the members were shown around the Snorkel assembly lines, spare parts warehouse, powder coat paint system and PDI/test areas, learning about the lean manufacturing techniques employed at the facility.
Access Link is a UK association of professional hirers and suppliers of access equipment, who are strategically placed to offer national coverage in both the UK and Ireland.

Doosan at Cereals 2018
United KingdomDoosan will be exhibiting at Cereals 2018, the UK's premier event for the arable farming industry, to be held at Chrishall Grange, Duxford, Cambridgeshire, 13-14 June 2018.
The company will show four of the newest feature-rich counterbalance forklift trucks, including models powered by the G2 diesel engine, which is fully compliant with all current Euro Stage lll/lllB/lV emission regulations, without requiring a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).

Manitou exhibits at IFAT
GermanyThe Manitou group is taking part in IFAT 2018, the trade fair dedicated to environmental technologies, from 14- 18 May in Germany.
Manitou is exhibiting six models at IFAT, all of them specifically designed for environment-related activities. These forklifts, aerial work platforms and telehandlers solve industrial safety, flow management and productivity issues relating to waste recovery, water treatment and renewable energy.
Arnaud Boyer, VP marketing & product development for the Manitou group, notes: "Participating for the third time in a row at IFAT, the benchmark in terms of trade shows dedicated to the environment, is essential for Manitou Group.
