Snorkel UK has appointed Sheffield-based PLP Lift Trucks as an authorised regional dealer.

Under the terms of the agreement, PLP Lift Trucks is authorised to sell and service Snorkel lifts in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire alongside Snorkel UK.

PLP Lift Trucks was established in 1972, and has built a solid reputation within the materials handling sector for the sale, rental and servicing of industrial forklifts, as well as providing accredited operator training. It is an authorised Cesab forklift dealer, as well as having many years of experience with other forklift brands.

Andrew Fishburn, divisional managing director of Snorkel UK, describes the appointment as "a winning combination for both businesses".

Following the appointment, PLP Lift Trucks has invested in three Snorkel lifts - a Snorkel TM12 telescopic mast lift, a Snorkel S3219E electric slab scissor lift and a Snorkel A38E electric articulated boom lift, which will be deployed within its hire fleet.
