Emission controls specialist Nett Technologies Inc has launched its second emissions-compliant engine test cell to measure next generation product/engine performance.

The technology can assist the construction, mining, materials handling, power generation, utility, on-road and marine industries.

The cell has the capability to test engines in full compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency's emission-testing standards under part 1065 of the code of federal regulations.

The cell is equipped with data acquisition systems and exhaust-emission measuring equipment and has two eddy current dynamometers. Operators can use the cell for steady state emission testing of small off-road engines, non-road large spark-ignited engines and non-road compression-ignition engines.

Thomas Hodgson, testing manager, says Nett's investment in its second engine testing cell facility positions it in both engine testing and product innovation. The expansion of Nett engine-testing capabilities includes small and medium-sized engines up to 80kW in test cell A and medium-sized and heavy-duty engines up to 220kW in test cell B.

Mississauga-based Nett develops, manufactures and globally sells and supports proprietary catalytic solutions that use the latest in diesel oxidation catalyst, diesel particulate filter, selective catalytic reduction, engine electronics, stationary engine silencer, exhaust system and exhaust gas dilution technologies.

Words of support …

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
