Hoist Liftruck Manufacturing, LLC, a leader in high-capacity heavy-duty forklifts, has announced the appointment of John Chandler to assume the role of vice president of manufacturing. Chandler will be responsible for manufacturing and overall quality at Hoist's East Chicago facility. He comes to Hoist with extensive operational experience having served in several senior management roles, including, most recently, as COO at Corporate Safe Specialists.

David Goss has been appointed as the new technical manager of the
British Industrial Truck Association (BITA), succeeding Bob Hine who is retiring at the end of February.
Goss joins BITA from Advanced Handling Ltd. where he was technical director. He is an experienced senior mechanical engineer with extensive knowledge of a wide range of lifting and handling equipment. He has also played an active role on various technical and trade association committees, most recently with the Association of Loading & Elevating Equipment Manufacturers (ALEM).

Clark Material Handling Company recently bolstered its executive team with the promotions of Scott Johnson, Dale Guckian and Rick Dahlke.
Scott Johnson has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing, with overall responsibility for Clark's new equipment and aftermarket parts sales teams, national accounts, government sales, dealer development, technical training and used truck sales. Johnson joined Clark in 1995, and most recently served as Clark's vice president of dealer services.
Dale Guckian has been promoted to director of dealer development. Guckian is also a materials handling industry veteran, having begun his career in 1986. He has extensive experience in all aspects of dealer operations, and his knowledge of Clark and North American distribution will significantly enhance Clark's ability to recruit and retain strong, independent dealers.
Rick Dahlke has been promoted to director of new equipment sales. Dahlke will manage Clark's regional sales team and will be the key interface with key end-user accounts. He is a respected materials handling industry veteran, having begun his career in 1991, and has worked extensively with dealers and major account customers.
