Schmit will oversee all departments at Webb and will be responsible for leading the company to future growth. He is a graduate of Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands and has over 20 years of experience in logistics and materials handling. He was most recently vice president at Daifuku Webb Holding Company.

Ken Hamel has been appointed senior vice president of Daifuku Webb Holding Company. Hamel will co-ordinate Daifuku's Global Airport Baggage Handling strategies. He has been with Webb for over 30 years.
