Jungheinrich UK Ltd has appointed Ian Barclay as narrow-aisle sales manager for the eastern region of the UK. Barclay has experience in the materials handling industry and has held senior posts with several leading companies.

Konecranes' equipment business area will restructure from 1 January 2012. This will change the composition of the group executive board.

Ari Kiviniitty has been appointed senior vice president, head of product management and engineering. He will also act as deputy to Hannu Rusanen, head of the equipment business area. Kiviniitty will also continue as the acting chief technology officer until a replacement is found.

Pekka Lettijeff has been appointed chief supply chain officer, head of supply chain management.


From January 1, 2012, Kiviniitty and Lettijeff will not continue as members of the group executive board in their new positions as they will report to Rusanen.

Graham Hough has joined logistics specialist AKW Group as business development manager. Hough, who is chairman of the Bonded Warehousekeepers Association, will grow AKW's client base in the bonded warehouse sector as the business aims to significantly boost its turnover in the next five years. He has experience in logistics and the specialist wines and spirits sector.

Jervis B Webb Company has appointed John Daugherty as Midwest/Eastern zone manager for global product sales. He will sell Webb's conveyor products through distribution and direct channels for the Midwest and Eastern Zones of the US. Daugherty has over 30 years of materials handling experience. He started his career at Webb while in high school.
