Maximal has become the leading forklift supplier to the Chinese Army. The General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) have tendered for warehouse equipment for military use. Among the key factors considered in the tender process were security and reliability.

Military officials invited different leading forklift manufacturers to compete in the tender, with each potential supplier asked to demonstrate the capabilities of their products. The forklifts were judged on appearance, engine power, travel speed, maneuverability in narrow aisles, etc.

So far, more than 300 forklift truck units matched the tender's requirement and have been delivered to warehouse of General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
