Reliable Forklift Sales recently moved to bigger premises

KION North America Corporation has announced the appointment of Reliable Forklift Sales to its dealer network.

Locally owned and operated, Reliable Forklift Sales is based in Phoenix, Arizona and was founded in 2005 by Don and Mary Carlson.

It is a full-service equipment dealer, offering new and used sales along with rental equipment and allied products, and carries materials handling equipment from Doosan, Big Joe, JLG and Sellick.

Over the last decade, the company has tripled in size, expanded into all forklift services and been recognised as one of the top suppliers in the industry.

"As a former forklift manufacturer's representative, I was always amazed at the high regard sales people had for the Linde products," says Don Carlson. "We are thrilled to represent KION North America and provide its brands to the Arizona marketplace."

Carlson's background includes sales roles at Clark, Caterpillar and Toyota.

In line with its long-term business strategy, KION North America says it is continuing to grow its dealer network by adding reputable dealers in key regions.

"We were impressed with Reliable Forklift's reputation in the area for outstanding sales and customer service," says Brent Mendendall, regional sales manager for KION North America. "Now that they're settling into their new, larger facility, we're excited to continue growing along with them."

Carlson tells Forkliftaction News he intends hiring additional staff to support the new lines which will augment, rather than replace, existing brands.

"We will not be dropping any of our other lines, but adding what we think is the premier forklift line available today. We believe this will be a complimentary and not a competitive addition to the lines we have been carrying," he says.
