The IWLEX Careers Fair will be FREE for organisation to participate in, however the organisers have requested that a donation is made IWLEX’s nominated charity for 2024, TransAid (www.transaid.org). Equally the organisers request that participating organisations send buyers from their Warehouse operations to support the exhibition. 

The organisers of IWLEX have appointed Nimble Media, who organise the inspiring Big Logistics Diversity Challenge (www.biglogisticsdiversity.co.uk), which champions diversity and inclusion through our sector, to produce the fair. 

The IWLEX Careers Fair will allow organisations and corporates that have a Warehouse Operation, to send a representative from their HR team to promote their business and the opportunities that exist. They will be able to schedule meetings with interested parties on the IWLEX event app. 

The IWLEX Careers Fair will be open to all levels of professionals from students to seasoned professionals and has been designed in-line with IWLEX’s core pillars of adding-value to the Warehouse community it serves. 

The Careers Fair will be marketed to universities, and the wider warehouse sector. The broader PR will help to raise awareness of the exciting career paths that exist within Warehouse Logistics. 

Expressing his enthusiasm about the initiative, IWLEX’s MD Nairn Foster remarked: "We are delighted to introduce yet another facet to IWLEX that adds tangible value to our community. The Warehousing sector offers such an exciting array of opportunities at all levels of seniority.  But attracting and retaining the best talent is an ongoing challenge. There is a demand for skilled professionals across the spectrum, and we hope to attract new faces curious about the opportunities available." 

Foster added: "IWLEX – The Festival of Warehousing is a forward-thinking event for our sector and community. While this is a unique endeavour, we are unafraid to explore and test new initiatives. We anticipate the Careers Fair will generate significant interest as we continue our vision to create a fresh and exciting and inclusive event, shaped by the industry for the industry”. 

The organisers are actively looking for organisations and academic institutions to get involved.
