What's in a name? That's probably what some people will ask when they read about MHI, formerly the Material Handling Industry of America, changing its name to its acronym.
Of course, the move is nothing new. Many companies have moved to acronym names, and the public has long forgotten the old nomenclature. For example, who remembers what 3M stands for? And IBM is today so far removed from "business machines" that the old name would be totally irrelevant.
The association describes its motivation for the name change as an effort to "better serve the changing needs of our members and our industry". So, in this case, there appears to be a lot in a name. We'll certainly keep an eye on the MHI and see how the rebranding impacts on operations.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
