This week's feature article looks at one of Europe's most interesting markets, Scandinavia. It's a relatively small market, but very innovative and has more than its fair share of global leaders, including in materials handling. The report includes some discussion of Scandinavia's resilience in the face of economic hardship - and that resilience will no doubt be tested again as Europe faces new challenges. Just yesterday, European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso urged the European Central Bank to do everything in its power to maintain financial stability in the Eurozone, saying the EU is facing "the biggest challenge in its 50-year history". Barroso hinted that the central bank may be the only institution with sufficient firepower to get on top of the 20-month debt crisis.
