A few of our advertisers have been targeted in a scam currently under way on the Internet. The emails are part of a spike in web-based scams involving expensive items being purchased outside their country of sale (in this case, the buyer claims to be in Dubai) and are designed to target the sellers' banking and wire transfer details. While we go to great lengths to prevent fraud and protect all our members, unfortunately, Internet fraudsters are always on the look-out for opportunities and we urge all visitors to be vigilant. No system can ever be totally scam-proof, so we remind buyers and sellers of the key rule of Internet (and probably all other) business: It it's too good to be true, it isn't!
