It’s been a big year for automation and green energy and these trends continue in this week’s news.

We have news of automated forklifts at a beverage plant in Japan and plans for more refuelling stations for materials handling equipment fitted with hydrogen fuel cells.

We also have shipping and logistics company Maersk turning its attention to Southeast Asia with plans to upgrade its supply chain capabilities in the region.

And, because it’s that time of year, we also have a Santa story.

Season's greetings from the Forkliftaction team to all those who celebrate Christmas!
