Just when you thought ICE had gone cold, German manufacturer Linde announces a new line of diesel- and LPG-powered forklifts designed for heavier loads.

At the same time, we report on another interesting trend this week, revealed in the new strategic direction of Linde's KION stablemate, Still. Like a few other major manufacturers, Still is embarking on a two-tier product approach - with premium and entry-level machine lines. This approach has clearly worked for rivals like Yale and Hyster, but comes as a bit of a surprise as KION already has a full entry-level range under the Baoli brand.
