And is now available in North America from ThyssenKrupp Steel Services

By popular request and after intensive market research Hoesch Schwerter Profiles (HSP) decided to extend their standard mast rail program for forklift mast rails by adding the new
"U-Standard 8".

This channel profile is the largest mast rail profile ever to be produced at HSP and was only possible as a result of the major investment in new rolling equipment which was completed in 2010 at a cost of around 30 million Euros.

The profile, with the no. 3546, has set a new record at HSP for becoming not only the heaviest but also the widest (250 mm) mast rail profile the HSP hot rolling mill has made.

In order to make this profile to the same high quality standard our customers expect , HSP also had to upgrade the secondary descaling equipment as none of the existing spray rings were large enough to provide the coverage needed to ensure controlled descaling of the complete surface.

After the successful introduction of the new profile into the European market in 2011, HSP and its exclusive North American representative, ThyssenKrupp Steel Services, are now launching the profile as part of the full range of profiles available from the TKSS stock, situated in Detroit.
