Haulotte optimistic about outlook News Story - 23 Feb 2012 ( #553 ) - L'Horme, France 1 min read Telehandler and access equipment maker Haulotte Group has reported a 23% growth in revenue in 2011.Consolidated revenue for Haulotte grew from EUR250 million (USD331 million) in 2010 to EUR307 million (USD407 million). All sectors contributed to the growth and this reflected strong momentum from the rental business, the group said.Business remained "relatively strong at the end of the year, despite uncertainties in the macroeconomic environment". Haulotte generated 2011 fourth quarter consolidated sales of EUR82.2 million (USD108.9 million) compared with EUR72.5 million (USD96 million) in the same period in 2010. This is an increase of 13%.The group predicts that the need for fleet renewal in Europe and growth in emerging markets will support Haulotte's business in 2012. It forecasts double-digit growth this year.Sales grew in all geographic areas between 2010 and 2011. Latin America experienced sales growth of 77%, and Asia 48%. Europe, which accounts for two-thirds of sales, grew by 19%. The US, a market where the key players have reinvested significantly in 2011, grew by only 5%.
