The DSC forklift division of Dillon Supply Co has added representation of Clark Material Handling Co through facilities in Raleigh and Charlotte for North Carolina and Greenville in the upstate region of western South Carolina.

Dillon is a full-service Clark dealer selling new equipment and aftermarket parts, providing service functions including factory-trained mobile technicians and expert parts personnel, and offering a forklift rental fleet, Clark says in a 24 April announcement.

Bob Rhyne is general manager of the DSC forklift division.

Clark says Dillon Supply has been "a fixture of the mid-Atlantic and south-east regions since 1914 (and) brings a wealth of brand recognition, financial strength, sales and marketing capabilities and infrastructure to bear on behalf of Clark". Dillon Supply distributes more than 350 brands of industrial equipment, operates steel inventory centres and provides inventory management services through locations in seven states.

In addition to the Clark line, the DSC forklift division represents Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc forklifts and Chrisman Manufacturing Inc's Navigator truck-mounted forklifts for the North Carolina market through its Raleigh and Charlotte locations and operates as a master distributor for Big Lift LLC's Big Joe electric forklifts in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

DSC forklift becomes Clark's second dealership in North Carolina. Tri-Lift NC Inc is based in Greensboro and remains an authorised Clark dealer in Raleigh. Tri-Lift NC has another North Carolina location in Mooresville, and a related firm, Tri-Lift VA LLC, has a facility in Roanoke, Virginia.
