Clark Material Handling Co has named Fraza Forklifts, of Plymouth, Michigan, as its 2013 dealer of the year.
Lexington-based Clark selected Fraza for recognition from among the forklift brand's North American network of 85 dealers and more than 200 dealership locations on the basis of excellence in equipment sales, parts and service, customer satisfaction, and overall dealer operations.
Gregory and Timothy Blackwood, through Blackwood Holdings Co, own and operate Fraza Forklifts, which has five locations in eastern Michigan, including the Detroit metropolitan area. Franza also represents six other forklift brands.
Clark named four dealers of excellence representing the top 10% of the dealer group: Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, of Phoenix; Holt of California, in Sacramento, California; TruPar America Inc, of Bentleyville, Pennsylvania; and Burke Handling Systems Inc, of Jackson, Mississippi.
Clark named five dealers of distinction representing the top 15% of dealers: JH Ryder Machinery Ltd, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; Louisiana Lift & Equipment Inc, of Shreveport; Cervus Equipment Corp, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Sooner Lift Inc, of Oklahoma City; and Homestead Materials Handling Co, of Roanoke, Virginia.
Clark's new dealer of the year is All Lift Service Co Inc, of Willoughby, Ohio.
