Bolzoni Auramo saw a remarkable increase in visitors. |
Organisers are describing CeMAT Asia 2015 as a success, after the event wrapped up last week as part of a four-day multi-exhibition staging that attracted 70,239 trade visitors.
CeMAT was jointly staged with PTC ASIA, ComVac ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA, Heavy Machinery ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA 2015 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Separate attendance numbers for CeMAT haven't yet been released, but organisers say there were more than 470 exhibitors in 17 halls of the fairground, covering 47,000 sqm over eight thematic display areas.
Among the exhibitors was Bolzoni Auramo, and Francesco Tagliaferri, Asia Pacific sales director, notes a "remarkable increase in visitors" this year.
"We received lots of visits by Chinese customers but - even more important - we got contacts from Europe, the Middle East, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and the Philippines. This proves CeMAT Shanghai (has become) the main Chinese event with growing international flavour."
Tagliaferri says many customers from the Asia Pacific were keen to find out more about Bolzoni's Chinese investments and its Asian business plan. "All our customers are highly interested in sourcing products from Chinese operations: they can enjoy price competitiveness but maintain the quality level of European standards. Within the next three years, Bolzoni is expecting to (double) the revenues from Asia Pacific countries."
Lots of action at the Cascade display |
Cascade Xiamen general manager Chen Ping describes the show as a success, explaining that "Cascade hosted many guests, including the representatives of forklift manufacturers, forklift dealers and other professional visitors, (and) widely exchanged information and ideas with them in a number of aspects covering product technology, service and business co-operation".
EP marketing manager Eric Zheng was pleased with the show. "Hundreds of customers were attracted by our products every day. We are satisfied with the number and quality of (visitors). Most Chinese and foreigners came to our show just for the products. We also hope we can do better next time," he says.
CeMAT Asia will return to Shanghai on 27-30 October, 2016.
