Cascade Corporation, founded in 1943, has since grown into a global operation with manufacturing plants and offices around the world. Our continued success is thanks to the hard work of many dedicated individuals, past and present. 2017 marks several anniversaries and we would like to recognize the history of contributions made by these members of the Cascade family.

Cascade's European headquarters, Cascade Italy, is celebrating 50 years of operation. Originally started as Roncari Srl., today Cascade Italy serves as the main manufacturing hub for customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Offering the widest range of products in the industry, Cascade Italy also features a rental and remanufacturing location and serves as the engineering and R&D center for Europe. A new facility built in 2016 enables them to offer high-volume OEM solutions for commodity products, continuing a long-lasting commitment to serving customers and providing high-quality material handling solutions.

Cascade Canada - Mississauga, Ontario, also marks their 50th year this June. Originally a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, it has continued to grow ever since its original purchase in 1967 by Cascade Corporation. Today, Cascade Canada - Mississauga supplies a wide range of custom attachments and a variety of remanufactured products. In 1988, they moved into their current location, which was again expanded in 2015 with a building dedicated to remanufacturing and rental.

Cascade Canada General Manger Chandica Harry cites global cooperation and institutional knowledge as key components for operations. "Success at Cascade Mississauga is primarily attributed to the team's ability to closely collaborate with other Cascade members: Portland Engineering, Europe, Australia and China. Our knowledgeable and long-tenure employees have developed well-refined processes and systematic approaches over the past 50 years to build quality Cascade products."

Cascade also marks several significant anniversaries in Asia this year. In 1967, Cascade Japan was founded to meet the emerging demands of the Japanese lift truck market. In addition to managing the sales and imports of Cascade products from partners around the world, Cascade Japan designs and manufactures a wide range of custom attachment solutions. As one of the longest-standing members of Cascade's global operations, observing 50 years in operation, Cascade Japan boasts a long history of providing quality products to their customers.

Cascade Xiamen celebrates with live music and more.

Cascade Xiamen, located in southeast China, reaches their 30th anniversary this year. Having grown substantially over the years, Cascade Xiamen built new manufacturing facilities in 2007 in order to serve their expanding customer base. They produce top quality forks, lift truck attachments, and construction attachments, satisfying customer needs across China.

Also in China, Cascade Hebei celebrates 20 years of operation. Residing near Beijing, Cascade Hebei manufactures all sizes and types of forks for distribution to Asian markets and globally. Like Cascade Xiamen, they moved into new facilities in 2007, allowing them to produce on a greater scale and meet the rising demand for Cascade products. Cascade Hebei is Cascade's largest forks facility and one of the largest in the world. Together, Cascade Xiamen and Cascade Hebei provide material handling solutions to the rapidly growing logistics industries in China and distribute products throughout the region.

The years of collective experience represented by these Cascade anniversaries demonstrate not only dedicated work from thousands of people, but the effectiveness of skills and expertise perfected over the years. Cascade would like to congratulate all of the individuals past and present who are part of these milestone anniversaries and commend each operation for their leadership and contributions to the material handling industry.
