The Raymond 7000 series single reach forklift was adorned with the American flag and the Statue of Liberty by a Carolina Handling shop technician and army reservist identified as David G.
Bidding on the colourful custom-painted forklift opened online on the American Hire a Veteran Day on 25 July and will continue until 17 August.
Proceeds will be given to non-profit organisations Folds of Honor and Upstate Warrior Solution.
Carolina Handling president and chief executive Brent Hillabrand says the forklift can be used as a warehouse workhorse or a novelty piece for any workplace.
