Konecranes work at waste disposal

Cooper Specialised Handling has supplied four Konecranes container handlers to two of London's waste disposal sites.
The 32-tonne container handlers unload 66 empty containers from trains servicing the West London Waste Authority's Brentford and Ruislip sites and reload them with 66 full containers in less than four hours.

Hitachi strengthens hold on TCM

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co will make forklift manufacturer TCM Corp a wholly owned subsidiary through a share swap, Reuters reports.
Hitachi Construction Machinery became the largest single shareholder of TCM in July 2003 when it acquired a 30% stake in the company. It currently owns 51% of the company.

Clark supports dealers

Clark Material Handling Company has released an updated version of its business stimulus programs for 2009 to its authorised dealers.
The programs support dealers in their efforts to promote their dealership and the Clark brand.
Scott Johnson, director of dealer services, says Clark has been conscious to encourage its dealers this year through incentives.
