Nissan Forklift Corp now offers a new secure online portal, NFCdirect.com, for its dealers and other business partners.
Nissan says the portal brings more personalised content to partners and, with one-click reordering, simplifies numerous online processes.
"E-commerce is not simply about selling online," says Steve Cianci, director of marketing and product management. "It's about delivering a consistent brand experience across all customer touch points."
NFCdirect.com replaces the former NicWeb and NicSmart systems for individual online catalog and parts ordering.
Marengo-based Nissan Forklift is a subsidiary of Nissan Forklift Co Ltd, of Yokohama, Japan, within the Nissan Motor Co Ltd family. Nissan Forklift Corp has about 100 dealerships with more than 225 locations in North, Central and South America.
Nissan Motor and Hitachi Construction Machinery Co say they plan to integrate their forklift businesses by March 2012.
