Crown's TSP6000 turret stockpicker has won another design award.
The forklift was honoured in the "Best of the best" category for the 2007 International Red Dot award. It was one of 43 products recognised among more than 2,500 entries.
Past awards for the stockpicker, introduced in 2005, include a Silver IDEA Award from the Industrial Designers' Society of America and the iF product design award from Germany-based International Forum Design (Forkliftaction.com News #269).

Company CEO writes forklift guide

Translift Bendi has published a free, 32-page booklet on articulated forklifts.
Written by company CEO Simon Brown, The Warehouse Revolution, Articulated Trucks Explained, details, among other things, the trucks' principles of operation, their advantages and training and safety issues.
"If the booklet has any shortcomings, it is that it undersells the huge impact these trucks can have on operational costs," a Translift Bendi statement said.
