Mustang offers slightly cheaper telehandler
OWATONNA, MN, United StatesMustang Manufacturing Co has introduced a four-storey telehandler for residential and small commercial construction projects.
Manufactured at Yankton plant, in South Dakota, USA, the 842 is similar to the 844 introduced in January 2005, but has a shorter lift height. The 842's lift height is 42 feet (12.8 metres) and the 844 is 44 feet (13.4 metres) (

The 842 was 3.5 per cent cheaper than the 844, Mustang marketing manager Doug Snorek said.
JLG shareholders to vote on Oshkosh merger

Completion of the transaction, tentatively in December, is contingent on JLG shareholder approval and clearance of government regulatory requirements. One requirement, a waiting period under the US Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, expired on November 21, according to a joint Oshkosh-JLG statement. The Oshkosh proposal values the cash deal at USD3.2 billion, including transaction costs and assumed debt.
JLG and Caterpillar Inc have marked the first year of their strategic alliance to supply JLG-built Cat-branded telehandler products exclusively to Caterpillar dealers. Production is in progress at JLG plants in McConnellsburg, USA, and Maasmechelen, Belgium (
