Comau is acquiring AutomhaAutomator Comau makes bid for Automha

Italian automation product manufacturer Comau has signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of warehousing and intralogistics automation group Automha and its subsidiaries from current owners Trasma.
The acquisition is expected to close in Q2 2025 with Comau calling it “a further step toward the creation of a forward-focused Italian industrial automation hub able to innovate and compete in multiple markets”.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed and management and operation of Automha are expected to stay the same initially.
In June last year, Comau unveiled its MI.RA/OnePicker, the latest in its Machine Inspection Recognition Archetypes (MI.RA) family of hardware-agnostic, intelligent vision systems, which has been designed to pick autonomously.

Lift-Tek to expand manufacturing facility
US-based materials handling equipment manufacturer Lift Technologies (Lift-Tek) has announced a multi-million dollar investment in its manufacturing facility in Oconee County.
A subsidiary of Cascade Corporation, Lift-Tek produces forklifts, AGVs and telehandlers, and will now add 110,000 sqft. (10,219sqm) to its existing manufacturing facility creating 41 new jobs. The new space is expected to be operational by January 2027.
Lift-Tek president and CEO, Davide Roncari, says: “We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Lift-Tek manufacturing facility”. “This project will not only enhance operational capabilities but also reinforce Lift-Tek and Cascade’s commitment to innovation and growth.
