New specialized tissue paper contact pads for tissue rolls
Contact pads are the most important part of the clamp. In normal handling situations, the pads are the only parts of the clamp directly in contact with the paper roll. Our new tissue clamp contact pads have a wide area and specialized pad friction surface selected to match the operation requirements.

The Bolzoni Auramo latest option for tissue paper damage prevention is the new Triple Radius Pad, having convex upper, lower and side edges specifically suitable to avoid any paper cutting. These pads are available as options for all types of tissue paper roll clamps.

Excessive clamping force is one of the most common causes of paper roll out-of-roundness damage. This is also important in tissue handling. The varying paper roll hardness, weights and diameter plus the high value of the rolls themselves are all factors requiring an extensive control of clamping force on behalf of the operator.

Force-Matic

In this handling situation, we offer our experience in using the
Force-Matic, a fully mechanical pressure control system applicable to paper roll clamps in order to prevent overclamping causing roll out-of-roundness.
