ProMat 2007 organisers say the trade show's 35,000 attendance was three per cent higher than in 2005.
The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) reported a 12 per cent growth in exhibitor numbers at 736. More than 5,300 people attended 69 educational seminars.
MHIA CEO John Nofsinger said there was great diversity among the exhibitions and the attendees. About 100 countries were represented at the Chicago, Illinois, show on January 8-11.
