Ambassador Lift Trucks is adding a third dealership to its portfolio.
From August, the Witham, Essex-based business will be the official regional dealer for Clark Material Handling, extending the company's reach in Europe, the UK's Business Weekly reports.
Ambassador sales director Trevor De'Ath says taking on an additional franchise was a decision based on offering more choice to meet current market conditions.
"We're working well with our national franchises OMG Warehouse Equipment and Komatsu Forklifts," he says. "However, adding the Clark product range to our portfolio puts us in an even better position, offering a full range of quality counterbalance product."
De'Ath adds that one of the reasons Ambassador chose the Clark franchise is the support provided to the UK dealer network from Clark's European centre in Germany.
Ambassador was established in Essex in 1995 by two brothers, Andrew and Trevor De'Ath. In 2008, it was appointed distributor of Komatsu forklifts in Essex, Suffolk and East London
