Mantova, ItalyItalian forklift maker OMG has launched the NEO SE electric reach trucks onto the global market.
The reach trucks are designed to do the work of a traditional forklift while having the characteristics and compact dimensions of a reach truck.
OMG says the forklifts have fingertip-controlled hydraulics, fully adjustable steering and sprung seats for operator comfort.
Griptech introduces fork positioner
Aachen, GermanyGriptech GmbH has developed a fork positioner for loading and unloading narrow loads, for example, into or out of containers.
The fork positioner's Shift2End concept allows both forks to be moved together and, as a pair, traversed to the left or right.
Griptech manufactures forklift attachments and imports MSE-FORKS in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Nissan's new order pickers
Marengo, IL, United StatesNissan Forklift Corp has introduced the Platinum OP series order pickers that have a design feature to reduce operator stress.
The Ergolift feature in the machines incorporate a secondary mast on the fork carriage, allowing the operator to raise and lower the pallet to comfortable heights while stacking and retrieving. It reduces the need for operators to stress their backs with constant bending because pallets are always at the correct height.
Crown's compact pallet truck
New Bremen, OH, United StatesCrown Equipment has launched the Crown WP 3000 series walkie pallet truck.
The forklift is designed for demanding applications where pallet trucks must "manoeuvre in tight spaces, withstand impacts, deliver power on demand and give operators controlled performance".
Crown says the truck's brushless motor technology provides responsive acceleration, smooth direction changes and consistent performance.
