YALE FORK TRUCK STUCK IN REVERSE, BUT GOES IN FORWARD

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MY YALE FORK TRUCK IS STUCK IN REVERSE. WHEN YOU CRANK IT IN NEUTRAL IT INSTANTLY STARTS TRYING TO GO BACKWARDS. WHEN YOU PUT THE GEAR SHIFTER IN FORWARD IT ACT LIKE IT IS TRYING TO GO BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS AT THE SAME TIME. WHEN GEAR SHIFTER IS IN FORWARD, YOU CAN GIVE IT ALL THE GAS UNTIL GAS PEDAL IS TOUCHING THE FLOOR IT BARELY MOVES. I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME FIGURE THIS. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP? SOMEONE TOLD ME IT COULD BE A SHIFT RELAY. IS THERE SUCH A THING ON YALE FORK TRUCKS? I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT FORK TRUCKS BUT I AM MECHANICALLY STABLE, JUST HAVENT DONE "ALOT" OF WORK TO THIS FORK TRUCK. THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME ON THIS MATTER.
