Discussion:
WONT RETRACT ALL THE WAY IN

I have a RM6095S-45 that reaches out normally but stops about 2 inches from retracting all the way back in. It will reach and retract normally when calibrating but as soon as calibration is saved and the truck is powered off then on, it repeats the same issue. i have replaced the reach sensor, swapped out Access 7 and Access 4, reloaded software and even replaced accessory pump (recommended by Crown). nothing has worked. Am i missing something? Thanks in advance

on that reach sensor, did you check the socket part the sensor stem inserts into for wear?
make sense?
if its worn it may be sending an incorrect signal in normal mode, when your in calibration mode it may be bypassing the limit which allows it to travel fully which in turn is confusing you.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
