Discussion:
vibration damper

How do you install the vibration damper on a gm 3.0 L? Manual says to pull it on with crank bolt but this crankshaft is not threaded! Afraid to press on crank with port-a-power and cause internal damage/ same thing for hammering it on. We thought about warming it up in the oven but we are worried about melting the rubber. Any help would be appreciated.
