not sure if this is a code or a readiness monitor. if it is a code where do i begin? i do not have software for this truck.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with this. I have one that is giving me a spn:100B /FMI:2 shut down truck controller can KO. And I get this as I turn on the key. About 20 seconds after

That's a fault code.
The transmission controller isn't communicating properly with the dash.
Start with wiring connections and check all chassis grounds.
