Hello, i have an hys s60ft which was displaying a no trans brake error code, found that the 4 pin i believe "toss" sensor had been kicked and damaged, swapped into known good truck and problem followed. Recently aquired the sensor and replaced, once replaced it displayed limited trans brake, use brakes. Unit will lose either forward or reverse and loss of functuon will switch when truck is re keyed. Is there any calibrations for these sensors or a direction i should look in?

This particular fault was cured by replacing the pressure transducer mounted on the side of the transmission, easy to find & replace & no setting up necessary..plug & play

Hello,
I have had the same problem on a L177.
Same message on display, same redlight with alarm sound.
I've changed the Temp sensor, then the TISS and the TOSS, calibrated everything, check the Harness.... without results.
One day, i try to substitute the harness with a another L177. And the problem disapear on the first one to go on the other one.
I order and changed the harness and the problem was solved.

After that i contacted HYSTER to explain the situation, and they answer me that this problem is known to appears sometimes.

I would check the wiring to the temp sensor back to the VSM. Do you have service level access to the dash display? If you do you can check trouble codes stored in memory.

The first practical visible-spectrum LEDs were red, not white. The red colour was the easiest to produce using the semiconductor materials available at the time (the 1960s). The alloy gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) used emitted red light.
