Discussion:
Toyota 7FB Truck - Runs REALLY Slow, 2mph Top Speed...

Hi guys,

I am working on an electric toyota 7fb truck, and recently replaced the EPS controller.

Anyhow, truck works good, but the top speed is extremely low, like 2mph.

No error codes, i checked the speed sensors, they look and read good.

I went into the programmer and checked the max speed value, and it is maxed out.

Can anyone give me some advice on what would cause a toyota 7fb truck to run this slow?

Thanks in advance,

Hi guys,

Well, I just solved the problem so I figure I'll write it up here for reference.

Went into the OPTION menu, and found that the BRAKE ACCUMULATOR option was DISABLED, when it in fact needs to be ENABLED.

With it disabled, the truck would not gain top speed, but enabled it is all good again!
