Looking for help on fault codes -201 and -31 on a Clark tmx20 sit down 36volt forklift. Has no drive although motor is running. Tilt and lift functions work. I need some guidance or gaining access to trouble code descriptions. Thanks!

I have am TMX15S showing errors 079 and 171 at startup, machine works but the pump motor turns at low speed. I think it is because the errors displayed. Could you help me please? Any data is useful, because I don´t have any information about CLARK

Always in movement
205,204 are generated by the pump controller indicating an incorrect start. Check lift pot mounting, check lift,tilt,and s/s actuator switches to make sure they are not "on" at start up (key on). 255 relates to the hand brake switch (hand brake on)and normally is not an indication of trouble

By any chance would you be able to help on a code 255,205,204 on the same model TMX 20 with a zapi AC control. The unit will travel but hydraulics are very slow

Cool. Thank you so much for the info. i just got back to the field and I will check that out. I dont think it was connected directly to the forklift. the plunger on the pedal cracked/ chipped off a piece. It was turning every time they would accelerate and let off. So sometimes it would miss the contact. slowly but surely there was little to no acceleration and those two codes popped up. First thing thought of was the accelerator assembly being it had issues with that chipped plunger and applied more than usual. So sounds like i need to check both traction controller and lift pump motor or drive motor or both? per 2 codes?

-201 is pump motor encoder error, check wireing to encoder (bearing in motor) if good replace encoder. -31 is VNM high(traction master controller) check if 3 phases of motor are properly connected.Check motor houseing for short to frame. Check for excessive voltage to battery case(isolate battery from truck if possible). Possible fault in controller power section or bad diode in controller. Was the charger possibly plugged into the machine connector by accident? (that would be bad)
