Discussion:
timing and another

Replacing the distributor cap rotor button, plugs, and wires.
Is there a special way to time the engine or can i use a normal timing light like a car.

Both of these motors these do need a good hot battery to and have to spin pretty fast to fire.
As both of these are timing belt motors, have you checked the timing belts? and their respective crank and cam marks?
what made you decide to replace the distributor assembly?
