Discussion:
tilt issue. intermittent

Here is one for you guys. Normal hydraulics without a load. With a load, tilt back issues. 2k load. Counterbalance valves replaced. Sometimes it wont tilt back at all. Sounds like its in relief. Bump it forward then back and it works normal. Other times it will tilt back slowly and when handle to nuetral, it will drift all the way forward as if packings were faulty. Do it again and it works normal. Drift test passed. No movement at all with load. Waited 20 min. RV1 ruled out due to no problems with lift. Tilt spool valve issue?

While you are in there you may notice that a piece of something blocking the port occasionally or a piston coming loose and shifting back and forth.

Have you had the cylinders apart, it sounds like a bad seal.
