Discussion:
ATEX and Lithium batteries

Does anyone know if it is possible to install ATEX equipment (such as Pyroban) on to a truck powered by a lithium battery?
I have read conflicting reports so am asking the hive mind for their thoughts etc.

We have 2 stackers of the brand Stöcklin with an lithium ion battery and can be charged in the atex zone. This stacker is made in house at Stöcklin.

According to pyroban it's not possible to do an fep conversion on a lithium ion battery truck at the moment and to be honest I can't see it ever being possible
