Hi, I would like to get some help with this. I've this forklift that just bought an as we were trying to check it out, we found that as we turned it on, a red light for temperature turn on, and it turns off the electric gas valve. So what we did was to send direct flow to the valve to keep it opened, so that this way the forklift won´t turned off, but as we did this the engine in low revolutions it maintenained as we accelerate deep, but as soon as we started to take the acceleration pedal away it begins to go up and down, it isn´t stable.

Is this the efi engine? If so you almost have to go to a dealer for diagnostics. They had cold weather problems and mass air probs too. Good luck and pls keep us posted.
