guys. what in your opinion is the best traction tyre option for power pallet trucks in freezer or damp application.

Safeer is cheaper.If a crash hurts someone it will cost them plenty.

not the great depression , just tight with there money. deep pockets ,short arms. if it costs a pound to fix you get the pound but if it costs 10 to cure they have to think about it.lol

Kevin; I thought your customer wanted to solve a problem. Most solutions cost money! I mean really, how much more can it cost? I knew that the US was in a recession apparentlty what I didn't know is the UK is reliving the great depression.
I think it's about time we told forklift truck owners to get real.

thanks for the response guys. problem i have is special compounds cost more and wear faster than polyurethane. customer has used standard tyres in his application for some time with the guys skidding and sliding about. i,m trying to convince him that the extra cost will stop all the crashes and spinning they do. therfore safer

There are also wire impreganted tires which work well and believe it or not they also have nutshell impreganated tires. We had an application where the customer was unloading reefer trucks with slick steel floor and the wire impreganted tires did the trick.
