Discussion:
No Start

I have a Toyota 7FGU15 that had a bad distributor. We replaced the distributor, but now have a no start condition. Found that the fuel lock-out solenoid is not energizing, no battery volts. Traced it to the relay. The coil to the relay is not getting a negative. The schematic appears to show it coming from the e/g rev switch.

Coukd this be a bad switch, or could it be related to the new distributor?

Wires from the distributor look ok. Could the e/g reverse switch be the issue?

Hello, check the wires going to the distributor. they break up inside the harness. or along the top of the engine at the hold down clips.( Wears through). Very common problem.
