Yale ERC050RG (premium display) wont go into mode

ive been working on a yale erc050rgn48te084 lifttruck with some electrical issues.. It started out having intermittent power to the display(premium display) and turned out to have a bad display. Installed the new display today and when i turn the keyswitch on its not in any modes. when i press any of the function keys to go into a mode (ex mode 4) it says requesting mode but never goes into the mode. ive checked the parameters using the smartset program and dont find any of the values out of range.. please help im ripping my hair out trying to figure this out...

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
