Discussion:
error code and manual

i have a yale forklift, erc040 in the AH series. I am trying to locate a service manual and am having difficulty... Also when operating the forklift, error code 3 appears. As per me getting a used forklift without an included operating manual I am hoping someone may be able to clear this up for me thank you very much.

Is that -03 code that is showing????...if so that is for reverse direction switch closed at start up....you have the serial number for the truck...??
Does the truck have a directional switch on the steer column or a monotrol pedal??........this a AC controoler motor or a DC controllere....the code 3 is same for both so first would check your reverse switch being closed when key switch is turned on or before seat switch is activated also...key and seat switches need to be activated first before directional....

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
