Discussion:
Electric Li-ion batteries from Alelion or Hoppecke?

Dear Reader.

I have been told about the Swedish Company, Alelion Energy systems, who produces Li-ion batteries to forklifts. The batteries are sold in the Toyota, Jungheinrich and Crown, the latest models.

I wonder if anyone have some experience about the company or the batteries? I also wonder if there is any difference to Hoppeckes batteries? The both batteries look similair, but does anyone have higher quality?

Thanks from Norway.

It would be interesting to know where both companies source their cells. It doesn't appear that Alelion or Hoppecke manufacture the actual Li-Ion cells, they only assemble the finished cell and add a BMS.

In addition to the manufacturer, it would also be helpful to know what Li-Ion chemistry each company prefers.

I don't think you can make a reasonable inference about quality until you know that information
