Code 24 and 49

Hop on the truck and put in in forward and code 24 pops up then put in reverse and code 49 pops up. What do those codes mean

Code 24 usually means the forward/reverse contactor has problems, burnt contact tips, not making good connection.

The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
